Honor Holly 3 Nougat update (EMUI 5.0) – Release date

Huawei officially confirms that it will release a new update to Honor Holly 3 smartphone. Most probably the update will be based on Android Nougat with EMUI 5.0 on top. The VoLTE support will be the highlight of the update.

There is no extract date revealed by the company for this Nougat rollout, but it will happen as early as May end. The device was launched back in October last year running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Collecting back the specs, the Huawei Honor Holly 3 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display and is powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 620 chipset clocking at 1.2GHz. It has 2GB of RAM for multi-tasking feature and 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card option for memory expansion up to 128GB. It has dual SIM support and has 4G LTE connectivity. It is the international version of Honor 5A that was launched in China back in June last year.

Honor 5C comes included with a 13-megapixels rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide-angle lens and is accompanied by a 8-megapixels front facing camera. It packs a 3100mAh battery with power saving technology that promises up to 1.74 days of battery life with average use and up to 1.17 days of battery life with heavy use.

Apart from this, Huawei today starts rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update with VoLTE support to Honor 5C.
