Huawei announced two new smartphones dubbed as Huawei Enjoy Max and Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus in China. These are the rebranded of Honor 8X Max and Honor 8X, which were launched in China last month. That’s the reason, the Huawei Enjoy Max and Enjoy 9 Plus have similar specifications to that of Honor 8X Max and Honor 8X respectively. Before we dive into the specifications of the device, the base variants of both the devices with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage will go on sale starting October 20.
Huawei Enjoy Max – Specifications
Huawei Enjoy Max features a 7.12-inch Full HD+ 18.7:9 curved glass display along with a waterdrop notch. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 processor (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. On the storage front, it includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
The dual-SIM Huawei Enjoy Max packs with a massive 5000mAh battery which easily provides backup for 2 days. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top. At last but not least, the device comes with a rear dual camera setup with a 16MP resolution primary camera sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP camera setup on the front of the device for selfies.
Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus – Specifications
Coming to Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus, it is fitted with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen. The notched display of the smartphone produces 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Kirin 710 12nm processor coupled with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The camera department includes a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, and a 2MP secondary camera. There is also a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, and a 2MP primary camera for portrait selfies. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery, runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2, and features a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The connectivity options includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. The Enjoy 9 Plus measures 162.4 x 77.1 x 8.05mm and weighs 173g.
Price and Availability:
The Honor Enjoy Max comes in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Aurora Violet colors, is priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 216 / Rs. 15,980 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 128GB version costs 1699 yuan (US$ 245 / Rs. 18,115 approx.). The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus comes in Black, White and Golden colors, is priced at 1699 yuan (US$ 245 / Rs. 18,115 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 128GB storage version costs 1999 yuan (US$ 289 / Rs. 21,315 approx.). Both these will go on sale in China from later this month.
