Huawei is having a tough time as the US government has ordered all the local companies to stop providing services to the Chinese telecom tech. Regarding this trade war, the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, which are companies’ latest flagship smartphones announced last month doesn’t include any of the Google applications. This will surely affect the sales figure of Huawei in the International smartphone business.
Despite these current circumstances, Huawei is up to the mark in providing the latest software updates to the devices which are confirmed to get the Android 10-based EMUI 10 update.
First, it was Huawei P30 and P30 Pro to get the EMUI 10 open beta update and now the Huawei Mate 20 Pro just joins the party. This will gives users the taste of Google’s latest mobile operating system which brings the exclusive system-wide Dark theme feature.
According to the reports from DroidApp, the EMUI 10 open beta update is currently rolling out in the Netherlands. But we can expect the company to release the same update to other European countries in the coming days.
The update pops-up the build version to EMUI 10.0.0.136 and is about 4.4GB in size. It also integrates the September 2019 Security Patch to the device. EMUI 10 brings along numerous UI changes to the table including a new magazine-style design, a simplified Settings menu, system-wide dark mode, redesigned Quick Settings panel, and new camera UI among other things.
Coming to the stable rollout, Huawei already announced the detailed Android 10 roadmap. According to that, the company will start rolling out the stable EMUI 10 update for Huawei Mate 20 Pro in December 2019.
