Google announced the Android Q Beta back in March and the Android Q Beta 2 last month for Pixel smartphones. Now, the search engine giant started rolling out the Android Q beta 3 to its Pixel smartphone soon after the Google I/O today. Thanks to Project Treble, the beta version of the 10th iteration of Google’s mobile operating system has also made supportive to at least 16 smartphones from 12 brands (without including Pixel smartphones).
At the last year’s I/O, Google also introduced the latest generation Android beta program for several brands apart from Pixel. This time also Google introduces the Android Q Beta program but to an even more wide range of smartphones across several international brands.
The Android 10 Q beta 3 update is rolling out to all the Pixel phones, from the first generation to the Pixel 3 series. Other devices are from brands like OnePlus, Techno Mobile, Xiaomi, Asus, Huawei, Realme, Essential, Nokia, Vivo, Sony, Oppo, and LG. Download Android 10 Q beta 3 update
Pixel smartphones already on the Android 10 Q beta program will automatically get the update via OTA. For non-Pixel models, you need to manually download and install the update by following the instructions linked from this page under your specific device model.
This beta update will bring most of the Android 10 features announced at the Google I/O 2019 event, including support for 5G and foldable devices and Dark Theme which helps to reduce eye strain as well as saves battery life. Moreover, Live Caption, Smart Reply for notifications, Dedicated Privacy section, Focus Mode are the other top features users will get along with the Android Q beta 3 updates.
