Google following its trend released a new version of Android OS called the Android 9 Pie back in August this year. This new version of the mobile operating system brings several new features, a redesigned user interface, and the power of DeepMind AI. Although it’s more than three months since the release of Android 9 Pie, it had hardly made up a percentage to the overall Android OS market share.
However, this Android OS market percentage of Android 9 Pie will no longer remain constant as the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro will get the update soon. According to reports from Canadian network carrier Fido, the Huawei P20 & P20 Pro starts receiving the Android Pie update in December. There is no official date revealed by the forum, but one can expect in early-December itself.
Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are not the only devices to get the taste of Google’s latest OS, but reports also claim that the LG G7 One will also receive the same treatment. LG G7 One will get the Android 9 Pie update directly, thereby skipping the Android 8.1 Oreo. This report of Android Pie updates gets even stronger when one of the users in North America has already received the firmware update.
To remind you, the Android 9.0 Pie brings gesture-based navigation, New Quick Settings UI design, Redesigned volume slider, Advanced Battery with AI Support, Notch Support, Improved Adaptive Brightness, Manual theme selection, Android Dashboard (Digital Wellbeing) and more other features.
