It’s just four weeks ago Huawei reported that the Android 10-based EMUI 10 OS is installed on more than 1 million smartphones. Today, the company has made another announcement stating the EMUI 10 is now running on more than 10 million Huawei devices globally. This indicates how fast the company is pushing the latest Android 10 upgrade to its handsets.
The 10 million figure is split between 33 Huawei smartphone models. The number will improve dramatically in the coming months as more Huawei and Honor phones are scheduled to get the EMUI 10 update. Huawei this year alone estimated to ship more than 230 million devices across the globe.
Currently, the Huawei Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, Honor V30, and Honor V30 Pro are the only devices ships with EMUI 10 OS (Magic UI 3.0). The Android 10-based EMUI 10 OS brings several new features like Magazine Design, Morandi Color, HiCare Mode, Dark Mode, and more. You can check the complete list of EMUI 10 Features here.
To date, a total of 33 Huawei models have received the latest Android 10 update. The first batch included devices namely P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, and Mate 20 Porsche Edition.
In the second batch, 16 Huawei and Honor phones received the upgrade, including the Mate 20 X (5G), Mate RS Porsche Design, Mate 10 Porsche Design, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10, P20 Pro, P20, Nova 4e, Honor 20i, Honor 10 Youth Edition and a few more. Devices namely Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro, Nova 5i, Nova 5z, Honor 20S, and more scheduled to get the Android 10 update early next year.
