Latest EMUI 9.1.0.153 Firmware update for Huawei P30 Pro brings Dual View Camera Mode

Last month, Huawei released EMUI 9.1.0.124 firmware update for Huawei P30 Pro bringing support for third-party notifications. Today, the Chinese smartphone giant has started rolling out another software update to P30 Pro. The update has been given the version EMUI 9.1.0.153 and is exclusively available for the Chinese variants. At the time of announcement of Huawei P30 Pro, the company promised to bring the Dual View Camera Mode. Today, fulfilling the promise, the feature is finally made available through an update.

EMUI 9.1.0.153 is the latest firmware which brings support for Dual View Camera Mode. With this special feature, the P30 Pro users can enjoy video recording with its primary camera along with the zoom lens. Both the cameras will be used simultaneously to record the subject along with its details. This feature will be really liked by videographers who want to shoot videos professionally with P30 Pro as it itself comes with triple rear camera up to 50x superzoom support.

Alongside the Dual View Camera Mode, the latest EMUI 9.1.0.153 update also brings the Charming portrait mode as well as Huawei Vlong and April 2019 security improvements. You can also refer the following list for complete changelog overview:

Camera

• Adds Dual-view mode to Camera, allowing you to view the panoramic and close-up video images while recording.
• Adds Charming portrait mode to Camera, allowing you to take portrait photos with more appealing blurring effects.

Huawei Vlog

• Automatically generates highlight reels, applies effects templates, and creates MVs.

Security

As said, the update is available only in China in a phase-wise manner. Users can also manually check for updates from the path Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Check for updates. Also, make sure the device is running on the latest software i.e. EMUI 9.1.0.135/136 to be eligible for the update.
