EMUI 9.1 is available to download for Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 RS Porsche Design

We have already reported that the Huawei will start rolling out EMUI 9.1 update to Huawei Mate 20 series later this month. Now, the update is finally available to download for Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design. Huawei Mate 20 series was first in the list which includes the names of 49 Huawei phones confirmed to get EMUI 9.1 update.

EMUI 9.1 update for the Huawei Mate 20 series brings the Moon Mode and GPU Turbo 3.0 features. With the new Moon mode, users can take better pictures of the moon through the super zoom capability of Leica triple cameras. However, the Moon mode is currently limited to the Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X handsets.

The latest EMUI update for Huawei Mate 20 series brings the versions EMUI 9.1.0.300 and is about 4GB in size. According to HuaweiCentral, the update has been released to multiple regions and will expand to more countries. It is a regular OTA update where users can also manually check for updates from Settings > System > Software update > Check for updates. If it’s still not available, then you need to wait for a couple of days as it is pushed in a phase-wise manner.

However, it is important to note that the updated version and size will vary from region-to-region. So, there is no need to worry if your device update version number is different from that of above one.
