Huawei India fans will be happy to hear that the Chinese telecom tech has announced the EMUI 9.1 update roadmap for its range of smartphones. There are currently 7 smartphones in the list which will be upgraded to EMUI 9.1 OS in the upcoming weeks.
There are a total of three phases through which all these 8 Huawei phones getting the EMUI 9.1 update. It is the Huawei P20 Lite to get the update in the first phase starting from this week.
In the second phase, devices namely the Huawei Y9 (2019), Nova 3, Nova 3i, and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro are in the line to get the latest software update. For these, the update will be rolling out from July 24.
In the final phase, the Huawei P30 Lite and P20 Pro will get the update. Huawei promises to complete the entire roll-out by August 7, 2019. All the eligible users will start seeing the update notification on their device display once the company’s starts rolling out the OTA update. As the update will be released in a phase-wise manner, it might take up to a week to reach each and every user in India.

Recently, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has also started pushing the EMUI 9.1 update to Honor Play globally. That means the update will soon make its way to India bringing all the EMUI 9.1 goodness.
