Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei announced its latest Honor 20 series smartphones at a special event in India today. These include the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, and Honor 20i. The first devices are the flagship smartphones offering a punch-hole display, Kirin 980 SoC, and quad-rear camera setup. Last but not least, the Honor 20i features a water-drop notch, Kirin 710 SoC, and triple rear cameras.
The Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20i are the first among the company handsets to be announced after Google made restrictions of using its Google Play Store and Play Services amid US government orders. This doesn’t stop Huawei for further development as the company already started working on its own operating system. According to the reports, the Huawei’s first ever operating system may be called “Oak OS” and is expected to launch by September this year.
Honor 20 Pro – Specifications
The dual-SIM Honor 20 Pro flaunts a 6.26-inch FHD+ All-View display with 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolutions. Honor has used a 3D Triple Mesh technology on the rear glass panel that includes layers of glass, color, and depth to offer a holographic reflection. It is powered by Kirin 980 with Dual NPU and GPU Turbo 3.0. It also features a Graphene Cooling Sheet technology for 27% better heat dissipation.
On the camera optics, the Honor 20 Pro comes with a quad camera setup which includes a 48MP main camera with an f/1.4 aperture, a 16MP 117-degree Ultra-Wide Angle with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 3D Portrait Lighting.
The device comes with an 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Other specifications of the device include a 4000mAh battery with 22.5W Honor Super Charge technology, dual microphones, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Android 9.0 Pie OS.

Apart from the storage, battery, and cameras, the Honor 20 shares most of the specifications to that of Honor 20 Pro. Starting from cameras, the Honor 20 comes with a 48-megapixels rear camera with 1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, AIS, 16-megapixels 117-degree Ultra-Wide Angle lens, 2-megapixels f/2.4 aperture camera for 4cm macro, and a 2-megapixels f/2.4 aperture camera for depth sensing.
On the storage front, the device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage without any option to expand further. It comes with 3750mAh battery support with 22.5W Honor SuperCharge fast charging technology. It measures 154.25 x 73.97 x 7.87mm and weighs 174g.

The HONOR 20 comes in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colors, is priced at Rs. 32,999 and will be available from Flipkart starting June 25th. The HONOR 20 PRO is priced at Rs. 39,999 and will go on sale soon.
