Yesterday, Huawei announced its latest mid-ranger dubbed as Huawei Nova 5z at an event in China. Today, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor also announces a new smartphone in the Honor 20 series dubbed as Honor 20 Youth Edition. With the launch of this smartphone, the Honor 20 lineup has an overall six smartphones including the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20 Lite, Honor 20i, and Honor 20S. Honor 20 Youth Edition – Specifications
The Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) is a glass-bodied smartphone with a metallic frame. It sports a 6.3-inch display with a full-screen resolution. One of the biggest changes of Youth Edition compared to other Honor 20 smartphones is the use of AMOLED technology on its screen. All the other smartphones have opted for the LCD and perforated displays. The Honor 20 Youth Edition also includes a fingerprint sensor under the display, unlike the Honor 20 devices which features on the side.
There is Kirin 710F chipset under the hood coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. For storage, the device offers 128GB of internal memory which can be expanded further using a microSD. The device runs on Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1.1 OS.
In terms of optics, the Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) rocks a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, it has a waterdrop notch to accommodate the 16MP shooter for selfies and video chats.
The connectivity features that are available on the device are dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. A 4000mAh battery is included at the back of the device which is well-enough to provide backup for an entire day on heavy usage.

The HONOR 20 Youth Edition comes in Midnight Black, Ice Blue and Jade Green colors, is priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 211 / Rs. 15,025 approx.) for 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, 1699 yuan (US$ 239 / Rs. 17,020 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 1899 yuan (US$ 268 / Rs. 19,025 approx.).
