Honor 20i is the company’s first smartphone to launch in the latest Honor 20 lineup. The device was launched in April and soon after the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro flagships where unveiled. Honor 20i is an affordable offering and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with company’s own EMUI 9.0 skin on top.
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor already confirmed the EMUI 9.1 update for the Honor 20 series smartphones. Regarding the same, it has started rolling out the EMUI 9.1 beta update to Honor 20i. This beta update is device limited and has a motive to find out bugs if any before the stable version is rolled out.
Honor 20i EMUI 9.1 beta update brings the version EMUI 9.1.0.208. The beta program is currently available for Chinese variants while the global users need to wait for more time.

According to HuaweiCentral, the following models are eligible for the EMUI 9.1 beta program: HRY-AL00T, HRY-AL00Ta, and HRY-TL00T. Users can take the help of HiCare app to request for the latest software update.
A total of 49 Huawei and Honor smartphones are confirmed to get the stable EMUI 9.1 update. Yesterday, the company also announced the timeline for the update to hit the eligible devices.
EMUI 9.1 brings several new features and performance improvements over the EMUI 9.0 version. GPU Turbo 3.0, New EROFS file system, OneHop, One Touch, AR Measurement, and Phone Clone are some of the top features of EMUI 9.1.
