Honor, the sub-brand of Chinese telecom tech Huawei announced a new mid-range smartphone dubbed as Honor 20i at a special launch event in New Delhi, India. At the same event, Honor also announced its latest generation flagship smartphones, the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro. All three smartphones feature a 32-megapixels front-facing camera. A water-drop notch, triple rear cameras, Android 9 Pie and HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC are the highlights of the Honor 20i. It is the same device that was launched as Honor 20 Lite in some global markets.

The HONOR 20i comes in Phantom Blue, Gradient Red and Midnight Black colors, is priced at Rs. 14,999 and will go on sale from Flipkart and offline stores starting from June 18th. Honor is also offering a 90 percent buyback guarantee if you return the device within 90 days.
Honor 20i – Specifications
The Honor 20i is a mid-range smartphone that borrows certain design elements from its flagship sibling. The rear panel is glass with gradient colors and vertical triple camera setup. The smartphone sports a 6.21-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop notch at the top. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Kirin 710 SoC coupled with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU, offering up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The Honor 20i runs on Android 9 Pie OS with Huawei’s custom Magic UI on top. The device offers an AI triple rear camera setup – a 24MP primary sensor with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, secondary 2MP rear camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. These rear cameras are accompanied by a 32-megapixels selfie camera. The selfie camera supports HDR, portrait mode, and face unlock for authentication.
Coming to connectivity options, the device offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB. A 3400mAh battery on the back provides juice to the smartphone.
