Huawei announces Android 7.0 Nougat update beta program for Honor 6x units in the US. These means, the Honor 6X users have the chance to experience the all new Android 7.0 Nougat-based EMUI 5.0 before the company released the official OTA update. Last month, Huawei’s also launched the similar Honor 6X Nougat beta program for all the device users in Pakistan.
The beta program was made official through Honor USA Twitter account where the company revealed that it’s currently looking for Honor 6X owners in the country who are interested in testing the beta firmware.

Interested owners need to share their respective device IMEI number with the company through their official email address – [email protected]. Just in case if you’re device is a dual model, send two IMEI no.s instead of one. If you’re selected for the beta program, you’ll be soon notified by the company itself.
As the final Nougat update for Honor 6X is scheduled to be rolled out somewhere in Q2, till then this beta program is the best option to experience Google’s latest operating system.
