Honor 8X EMUI 9.1.0.269 update rolling out, brings December 2019 Security Patch

Honor 8X is in the final stage of EMUI 10 beta testing and one could expect the stable roll out soon in the coming weeks. Before the release, Honor wants to make sure that the device has the latest security patch installed and thus integrates the December 2019 Security update.

Yes, Honor 8X users have started receiving a new firmware update with version EMUI 9.1.0.269(C675E8R1P1). The update is about 129MB in size and brings the December 2019 Security patch.

Alongside the Honor 8X, Huawei Mate 30 Pro also getting a new firmware update. It is a minor update weighing just 23.97MB and brings fix for an issue while pulling down the status bar. The update is released for the Huawei Mate 30 Pro Chinese variant. The same update could be released for the global variants too.
