Honor 8X, Huawei Mate 20 Lite, and Nova 3i gets Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9 update

Just a few days back Huawei rolled out Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9 update to Nova 2s, Mate 9, P10, Honor 10 series devices and today three more devices set to receive the latest software update. These are Honor 8X, Huawei Mate 20 Lite, and Nova 3i. Initially, the update is rolling out in China and will be soon made available to other global countries.

Before the stable release, all the three devices were made eligible for EMUI 9 beta program. This program was announced in early-December 2018 and moreover, Huawei also released its first EMUI 9.0.1.59 update for the selective devices.

All the three devices namely Huawei Nova 3i, Honor 8X, and Huawei Mate 20 Lite tasting the first major Android update after their official announcement. EMUI 9 brings several new features and performance improvements. Apart from this, the EMUI 9 also brings AI features, support for face unlock, WeChat fingerprint payment, Digital Balance dashboard, and more. The latest update supports China Telecom VoLTE that allows users to make calls in the mid of playing a game with more precision.
