Honor 9X EMUI 10 (Android 10) beta program expands globally

Announced first in China back in July 2019, the Honor 9X was only able to enter the Indian market just last week. Being the successor of Honor 8X, it brings impressive design and the most eye-catching is the pop-up selfie camera. On the display front, the Honor 9X sports a 6.59-inch full view display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.

The only difference between the Chinese and global variants of Honor 9X is the chipset. Honor 9X (Pro) in China comes with Kirin 810 SoC while the global variant is powered by Kirin 710F SoC. Other specifications of the device include a 48MP + 2MP +8MP main camera, 16MP selfie camera, up to 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a 4000mAh battery.

Honor 9X runs on older EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. However, it will be one of those lucky ones to get the major Android 10-based EMUI 10 update as Honor provides at least one major software update to its devices.

Moreover, EMUI 10 is already tested in China last December. What about global users? Good News! Wait for global users is also awaited as EMUI 10 beta program expands globally. Currently, Honor is recruiting EMUI 10 beta testers from regions like France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Egypt, and the Middle East.
