After the great success of ‘X’ series smartphones in India, Honor is going to launch the latest smartphone dubbed as Honor 9X. The device already made its debut in China and other global markets in July last year. Honor has set January 14 as the date for the announcement of Honor 9X in India and the official media invites are already out. Earlier, the Honor 9X was said to announced back in December 2019, but due to some reasons, the launch date was delayed.
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be partnering with Flipkart to launch its first smartphone for the year 2020. Moreover, Flipkart also launched a new teaser that hits the launch of the next generation of ‘X’ series smartphone. It also features a big ‘X’ and shows the timeline of all the previous ‘X’ series smartphones launched in India.
Honor 9X could not be the only device to be announced on January 14 as we could also expect the Honor Magic Watch 2 and Magic Book laptop also going official at the same event. Here is everything to know about the Honor 9X.
Honor 9X – Specifications, Features
The dual-SIM Honor 9X sports a 6.59-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19.5:9 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by Kirin 710 7nm SoC, but the Indian variant will be likely be powered by the Kirin 710F SoC.
The device runs on Android 9.1 Pie-based EMUI 9.1 OS and features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the storage front, the device offers 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage with an option to expand further with microSD.
For photography, the Honor 9X sports dual rear cameras – a 48MP main camera and 8MP ultra-wide sensor. There is also a 16MP front camera. A 4000mAh battery provides juice to the device.
