Honor View 10 EMUI 9.0.0.228 update rolling out; users complains lag issues, fast battery draining, and other problems

Honor View 10 Android Pie EMIUI 9.0 update

Huawei sub-brand Honor already rolled out EMUI 9.0 stable update to Honor View 10 earlier this year. Today, the company has released a new software update to Honor View 10 bringing the May 2019 Security Patch. Recently, the Honor Play and Honor View 20 also received the monthly security updates.

The latest firmware update for Honor View 10 brings the version EMUI 9.0.0.228(C675E6R1P9) and is about 695MB in size. The update has been pushed via OTA in a phase-wise manner. So, it might take a few days to appear on each and every Honor View 10 device. Users can also request the OTA update through HiCare app (HiCare app supports only selected regions).

However, those who have installed the EMUI 9.0.0.228 update on their Honor View 10 have been complaining about the bugs and issues after the firmware update. The device lag or hang issue, Notifications toggles are not working, recent app not closing/background apps continuously running, automatic heating, and more.
