Honor View 20 has started receiving a new software update just before the release of the Android 10-based EMUI 10 update. It is a small update bringing the October 2019 Security Patch as well as the system improvements.
According to the EMUI 10 roadmap, Honor View 20 is scheduled to get the stable Magic UI 3.0 update in mid-November. Alongside the View 20, Huawei will also release the Android 10 update for Huawei P30, Mate 20 series smartphones by November-end. The Magic UI 3.0 is nothing but the renamed version of EMUI 10 skin for Honor smartphones.
The latest Magic UI 2.1.0 update for Honor View 20 bumps the build number to v9.1.0.251. The update is about 540MB in size and is rolling out via OTA. As usual, it is happening in batches. So, one can manually check via Settings > System > Software update > Check for update.

To remind you, the Honor View 20 was announced back in January this year running on Android 9 Pie-based Magic UI 2.0 out of the box. Soon after in July, the company released the EMUI 9.1 update based on the same Android Pie. EMUI 9.1 was a major upgrade over the EMUI 9.0 bringing features like GPU Turbo 3.0, Gesture Navigation, and Vlog AI Editing.
Coming to specifications, the Honor View 20 comes with a 6.4-inch display, Kirin 980 SoC, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB internal storage. It has dual SIM support and features a 48MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, AIS, TOF 3D secondary camera. There is also a 25MP shooter on the front for selfies and other video calling purposes. A 4000mAh battery provides juice to the device.
