Honor View 20 has started receiving a new software update just before the release of the Android 10-based EMUI 10 update. It is a small update bringing the October 2019 Security Patch as well as the system improvements.
According to the EMUI 10 roadmap, Honor View 20 is scheduled to get the stable Magic UI 3.0 update in mid-November. Alongside the View 20, Huawei will also release the Android 10 update for Huawei P30, Mate 20 series smartphones by November-end. The Magic UI 3.0 is nothing but the renamed version of EMUI 10 skin for Honor smartphones.
The latest Magic UI 2.1.0 update for Honor View 20 bumps the build number to v22.214.171.124. The update is about 540MB in size and is rolling out via OTA. As usual, it is happening in batches. So, one can manually check via Settings > System > Software update > Check for update.
