Like its parent brand Huawei, Honor is also bringing a range of wearables from time to time. Honor Watch Magic, Honor Band 5, Band 5i are the latest wearables from the Chinese smartphone giant. Honor Watch Magic is one of the slimmest smartwatches on the market and is similar to Huawei Watch GT. Those who own a Watch Magic will be happy to hear that the company has started rolling out the latest software update.
The latest firmware update for Honor Watch Magic brings the version 1.0.10.16 and is about 7.57MB in size. It also brings the October patch to the device.
The 1.0.10.16 update also optimizes sleep tracking algorithms, swimming calculations, water user interface, and improves system stability. To update the Watch Magic, open the Huawei Health app on your smartphone and make sure the watch is paired with your smartphone. Now, manually check for the update by following the path Devices > Honor Watch Magic > Firmware Update. As the update is rolled out via OTA, it might take a couple of days to appear on each and every device.

I have recently bought Honor Watch-80A (Magic) (Jan 2019 in India) and it has come with version 1.0.5.24 and when checking through health app, it says a new version of 1.0.6.8 is available. When I go through the update then it goes through the complete process without any issues but when the watch is restarted then the version still shows 1.0.5.24. Even
checking through health app again shows new update is available. It seems it is not completing the update for some
reason and failing at some stage which it is not reporting. Is there any way I can find out the issue why it is not
updating the firmware version or any other steps that can help in the update?
