Honor X10 launched with 5G Support, triple rear cameras: Price, Features

Huawei sister-brand Honor announced its first 5G-powered smartphone in the Honor X series – the Honor X10 5G. It features a 5G 7nm Kirin 820 SoC that supports nine 5G frequency brands to allow stable and reliable 5G connectivity. Honor X10 is the successor of Honor 9X with great improvements over the hardware and design overview. A 6.63-inch FHD+ 20-notch LCD display, 40MP main camera, Android 10 are the highlights of the Honor X10.

Honor X10 – Specifications

The glass-bodied Honor X10 sports a 6.63-inch notch-less screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It supports the 90Hz display refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 820 5G processor paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM.

Honor X10 comes in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB. There is also microSD card support for further memory extension up to 256GB. The smartphone runs the Android 10 operating system topped with Magic UI 3.1.1.

For optics, the device offers a triple rear camera setup on the back and a pop-selfie camera on the front. The primary camera on the back is a 40MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens, the secondary is an 8MP sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and the last is a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 lens. There is a 16-megapixels selfie camera hidden in the pop-up mechanism.

The Honor X10 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Hybrid dual-SIM support, and a 4300mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging technology. The dimensions of the device measure 163.7 x 76.5 x 8.8m, weighs 203 grams. The connectivity options available within the smartphone are 5G, 4G LTE support, dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS / A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type C port for charging.

Price and Availability:

Honor X10 comes in four color options – Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Fiery Orange. Coming to pricing, the 6GB + 64GB variant costs 1899 Yuan (US$ 267 / Rs. 20,220 approx.), 6GB + 128GB variant for 2199 Yuan (US$ 309 / Rs. 23,455), and the top-end 8GB RAM + 128GB costs 2399 Yuan (US$337 / Rs. 25,590 approx.). All the three variants are already up for pre-order in China, while the shipping starts from May 26th.
