Last week, Google officially released Android 9.0 Pie, the next version of its Android operating system to its Pixel smartphones. Soon after, various OEMs starts announcing the Android Pie update roadmap for its devices. Recently, the Chinese smartphone giant Vivo announced that it will start rolling out Android Pie updates to its eligible devices by end of the year. Now, Huawei also reveals its Android 9.0 Pie update plans for its range of smartphones.
In fact, a reports from MyDrivers also reveals that Huawei has already started testing Android 9.0 Pie firmware on Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei P20, Honor 10, and Honor V10. All these phones are flagship models which are expected to get the update very soon. We believe this will also include the Huawei P20 Pro since the P20 is listed.

Android 9.0 Pie is a major update from Google bringing a lot of new and advanced features over the previous Android 8.0 Oreo version. Some of the highlights of the Android P update are a new Gesture-based navigation system, Digital Wellbeing dashboard, Adaptive battery, Ai-powered app actions, Slices, Background restrictions, Smart text selection, upgraded Do Not Disturb mode, improved security model for biometrics, and more.
