Google at its annual developer’s conference on May 8 announced the top features of Android 10 and also released Android 10 Beta 3 update for a range of Android smartphones. This time, it’s not only the Pixel handsets to get the update, but smartphones from other OEMs including Essential, Xiaomi, Huawei, Vivo, OnePlus, Realme, Asus, LG, Nokia, and more also made eligible for the Android 10 beta program.
Google will release three more beta updates before the stable version is made available. According to the reports, the final version of Android 10 Q is expected to be made available in late-July or early-August.
Today, Huawei officially announced that it has started working on new EMUI OS which will be based on Android 10. Moreover, the company also become the first to officially announce the list of smartphones to get Android 10 update.
The list includes combinations of Huawei and its sub-brand Honor devices. There are a total of 8 devices in the first batch to get the stable Android 10 update. The Chinese smartphone giant also said that it will soon open applications for the beta testing and also co-operate with Android app developers to ensure stability and compatibility.

There are no details available regarding the timeframe of the Huawei Android 10 update. But, Huawei took to Weibo to announce that EMUI based on Android 10 will be available immediately after Google releases the update for its Pixel lineup of smartphones.

- Huawei Mate 20 Pro
- Huawei Mate 20 X
- Huawei Mate 20 RS
- Huawei P30 Pro
- Huawei P30
- Honor View 20 (V20)

To remind you, the Android 10 beta 3 program is already live for Huawei Mate 20 Pro. If you’re lucky user, download Huawei’s Beta Friendly User Test app and sign-in with your Huawei ID. Join the beta program through the app from Join Project > Available Projects > Huawei Mate 20 Pro Beta project. That’s it! Huawei will automatically start rolling out the OTA update once the application is successfully accepted.
