Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Porsche Design are the latest Huawei smartphones made eligible for the Android 10-based EMUI 10 beta program. Currently, the EMUI 10 recruitment for these devices is live in China, whereas no details are available for global users. Earlier this week, Huawei already finished the EMUI 10 beta recruitment with Huawei Mate 20 and Honor 20 series devices.
Huawei Mate 10 series recruitment for EMUI 10 update comes from Huawei itself through its official forum. The EMUI 10 is based on Android 10, brings several new features and performance improvements. It is really good to see Huawei rolling out the Android 10 update for Huawei Mate 10 series which is already two-year-old from now. Initially launched with Android Oreo, the Huawei Mate 10 / Mate 10 Pro got the Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1 update in July. The update introduced July Security patch alongside several new features including the EROFS, GPU Turbo 3.0, OneHop, Car Key, Phone Clone, and more.
Users of Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design should be running on the latest EMUI version i.e. EMUI 9.1.0.321 to be eligible for the EMUI 10 beta program. As said, the only Chinese version is being recruited for time being – this includes Mate 10 units with ALP-AL00 and ALP-TL00 model numbers, BLA-AL00 models for Mate 10 Pro, and BLA-TL00 for the Porsche Design.
