Huawei has scheduled a special event on September 19 where the company’s most-awaited flagship smartphones i.e. the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are to be announced. Moreover, the event could also be a witness of Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Design and Mate 30 Lite announcement. As the name suggests, the Mate 30 Lite will be the affordable variant of the flagship with a quad-camera setup. Today, the press renders of Huawei Mate 30 series has surfaced online, thanks to @evleaks for sharing.
The renders of Huawei Mate 30 Pro confirms that the company has gone with the circular rear camera setup. It also confirms that the circular module consists of four cameras, but it’s still unclear that the flagship will include the P30 Pro like the periscope-style camera or not? There is no work on the exact specs of the cameras, but we hear Huawei may use two 40-megapixels sensors and a periscope zoom lens.
The renders also show dual-LED on the outside of the circular camera setup and there is no fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. This indicates that the Huawei Mate 30 Pro could feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the front, there is a wide notch which carries triple cameras and possibly some advanced facial recognition sensors. A Kirin 990 SoC, dual-SIM support, and water resistance ability are the expected features of the flagships.
Coming to the Huawei Mate 30 which is also expected to get official alongside the Mate 30 Pro features a smaller notch carrying a dual selfie camera and non-curved display. The latest renders also reveal that the Mate 30 Pro comes with the volume rocker and power button at the right side of the device. It might also adopt the circular camera module at the back with the quad-camera setup.
The PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 30 Pro luxury smartphone shows racing stripe motifs with all-natural leather and a matching theme, while the specifications will likely be similar.
Finally, the Huawei Mate 30 Lite may also go official at the September 19 launch event. The Huawei Mate 30 Lite is said to be the global variant of the Huawei Nova 5i Pro which was introduced in China back in July.
The Huawei Mate 30 Lite comes with a 6.26-inch FHD+ IPS display, Kirin 810 SoC, Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.1.1 OS, Dual SIM support, and a 4000mAh battery. It features a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel and offers up to 8GB of RAM. The device comes in 128GB and 256GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD.
We would share more details about the Huawei Mate 30 series smartphones once there is official coming Thursday.
