Chinese telecom giant Huawei has launched a new tablet in the Indian market. Dubbed as Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite, the tablet includes M-Pen Lite Stylus support, a 10-inch FHD display, and a large 7500mAh battery. It pairs with quad-speakers co-engineered with the world-renowned Harman Kardon brand to deliver professional theatre-quality sound.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite comes only in Champagne Gold color and is priced at Rs. 21,990. The tablet will be Flipkart exclusive and up for grab starting from 29th September 2019.

Starting from the display, the MediaPad M5 Lite sports a 10.1-inch full-HD IPS display with 1920 x 1200 pixels screen resolution and 224-pixel density. The tablet runs on outdated Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 OS. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further extendable up to 512GB.
Under the hood, there is a Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor coupled with ARM Mali—T830 MP2 GPU. For imaging duties, the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite offers an 8-megapixels rear camera with autofocus and an 8-megapixels front camera with fixed focus support. It has support for M-Pen Lite Stylus which is claimed to offer 2,048 layers of pressure sensitivity.
There is a 7,500mAh battery on the back which is claimed to fully charge in less than 2.9 hours. The tablet is just 7.7mm thick, weighs 475 grams, and offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, and more. Range of sensors available within the tablet includes Gravity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Distance sensor, Fingerprint sensor, Hall sensor, Status indicator, and a compass. It comes with an eye-comfort mode for children, parental controls, and Intelligent Light Adjustment features as well.
