Huawei MediaPad T5, the company’s latest Android tablet makes its way to India. The price of the MediaPad T5 starts at Rs. 14,990 and comes in two storage variants, anti-fall design, dual speakers, and more. As per the company’s official website, the Huawei MediaPad T5 is the only offering in the country from Huawei in the tablet segment. However, its sub-brand Honor also offers a single tablet dubbed as Honor MediaPad T3 starting at Rs. 10,999.
Huawei MediaPad T5 – Specifications
The Huawei MediaPad T5 comes with a 10.-inch Full HD vivid display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Kirin 659 SoC coupled with MaliT830-MP2 GPU. It comes in two storage variants: 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage.
The tablet also includes cameras on both the front and back panel. The Huawei MediaPad T5 includes a 5-megapixel sensor on the back panel while on the front the tablet offers a 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera.
One of the best bits about the Huawei MediaPad T5 is its massive battery. The device is backed by a big 5100mAh battery.
The tablet features a thin and light body and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with the company’s EMUI 8.0 skin on top. It measures 243 x 164 x 7.6mm; weighs 460g, and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and GPS.

HUAWEI MediaPad T5 comes in Black color and is priced at Rs. 14,990 for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage option and Rs. 16,990 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage option. As an introductory launch offer, users will get flip cover and HUAWEI Earphone AM 12 worth Rs. 2,998 for free. The MediaPad T5 will be available on Amazon.in starting 10th July 2019.
