Huawei on Thursday announced the Huawei Nova 4e, the undertoned variant of the Huawei Nova 4 that was launched in late-December 2018. The device comes with a water-drop notch which was already teased by the company a few days ago. A Kirin 710 SoC, 24MP + 2MP + 8MP triple rear camera setup, and a 3340mAh battery are the highlights of the Huawei Nova 4e. The device will make the global appearance as Huawei P30 Lite on March 26.
Huawei Nova 4e – Specifications, Features
The Huawei Nova 4e sports a 6.15-inch 19.5:9 LCD on the front that has a resolution of 2312 x 1080 pixels. The display also features a water drop notch on top which is home for 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI Beauty features. On the rear side, there is 3D glass finish and features a triple rear camera setup with a LED flash – a 24MP primary camera with f/108 aperture, a secondary 2MP camera, and an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide camera.
Coming to hardware department, the Nova 4e is powered by Kirin 710 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM, GPU Turbo 2.0, and runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based EMUI 9.0 OS. It offers 128GB of internal storage which can be further extendable up to 512GB via microSD card.
A 3340mAh battery provides juice to the device with support for USB Type-C. It also supports fast charging technology that is claimed to charge the phone from zero to full in just 105 minutes. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel for better security purposes.
Huawei Nova 4e comes with several connectivity options including Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C.
Price and Availability:
The HUAWEI Nova 4e comes in Midnight Black, Pearl White and Gradient Blue colors, is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 297 / Rs. 20,720 approx.) for the 4GB RAM version and the 6GB RAM version costs 2299 yuan (US$ 342 / Rs. 23,835 approx.). It will go on sale in China later today.
