Huawei has scheduled a special event on July 21 where it will introduce the Nova 5 and Nova 5i. Now, it seems the launch event will not be limited to only two smartphones as the Nova 5 Pro is also expected at the same event. Today, the smartphone has been spotted online on jd.com which reveals its design.
According to the listing, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro will be offered in four color options i.e. the Forest Green, Purple, Black, and Coral Orange colors. Not only this, but the images also confirm that the upcoming flagship will feature quad rear cameras, waterdrop notch screen with minimal bezels and has 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
The back of the Nova 5 has glass-finish and there is no fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. This likely means the company will embed it under the screen. It also indicated that the smartphone will come with an OLED panel. It will also be a house for Kirin 980 SoC.
Apart from this, no other details available on the JD.com website. Considering the earlier leaks & rumors, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro to come with a 6.39-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) 19.5:5 aspect ratio AMOLED screen, Kirin 980 SoC, 25MP front camera, and a 48MP front camera. A 3500mAh battery will power the smartphone with 40W fast charging technology.
Huawei Nova 5 may also have the same design, but to be powered by Kirin 810 7nm SoC. There is still one week left for the launch event, so we might see more details popping-up in the coming days.
