Huawei Nova 5i Pro announced with Kirin 810, Quad Rear cameras, 8GB RAM – Price, Details

After the announcement of Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, and Nova 5i smartphones last month, the company announced yet another smartphone in the Nova series dubbed as the Huawei Nova 5i Pro. It is the advanced version of Nova 5i with powerful chipset and high-end camera sensors. According to reports, the Huawei Nova 5i Pro will arrive at the global markets as Huawei Mate 30 Lite.

Price and Availability:

The HUAWEI Nova 5i Pro comes in Aurora Blue, Emerald Green and Phantom Black colors, is priced at 2199 yuan (US$ 319 / Rs. 22,065 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 2499 yuan (US$ 363 / Rs. 25,070 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 2799 yuan (US$ 406 / Rs. 28,080 approx.). Nothing about the global pricing or the availability is known as of now.

Huawei Nova 5i Pro Specifications:

Similar to the Huawei Nova 5i, the Nova 5i Pro also comes with a punch-hole display and quad-camera setup on the rear. It sports a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS (2340 x 1080 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is TUV Rheinland certified. It is designed to protect the eyes of the users from the blue rays released by the screen.

The Kirin 810 chipset of the Nova 5i Pro assisted by up 8GB of RAM. For storage, the maximum capacity offered by the smartphone is 256GB. There is a hybrid SIM slot on the device for additional storage. Android 9 Pie handles the software on the device, overlaid with the company’s own EMUI 9.1.

There are four cameras on the rear of the Nova 5i Pro with sensors like a 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX586 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide module, 2MP Super Macro unit and a final 2MP depth sensor. There is also a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and other purposes. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 156.1x 73.9 x 8.3 and it weighs 178 grams. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging technology. According to Huawei, the device can be charged up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
