Huawei on Tuesday launched the Huawei Nova 5T, its latest flagship smartphone at a global launch event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is yet another smartphone from Huawei to feature quad rear cameras. Earlier, the Chinese smartphone giant announced the Huawei P30 Pro and Huawei Nova 5 Pro sporting quad rear cameras. Huawei Nova 5T design, hardware, and software specs are inspired from Honor 20 and Huawei Nova 5 phones.
Huawei Nova 5T – Price and Availability
The HUAWEI Nova 5T comes in Black, Crush Blue and Mid Summer Purple colors, is priced at RM 1599 (US$ 379 / Rs. 27,230 approx.). It will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from August 29th till September 5th and will go on sale from September 7th.
Huawei Nova 5T – Specifications
The Nova 5T flaunts a 6.26-inch Full HD+ FullView display with a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio and 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. It is powered by Huawei Kirin 980 SoC with 720 MHZ ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU and 8GB of RAM. For storage, the flagship offers 128GB on-board memory without any microSD card support.
The Huawei Nova 5T is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, runs on Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.1.1 OS, and packs a 3700mAh battery with 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging.
The device features quad rear camera including a 48MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP camera with f/2.4 aperture for macro or extreme close-up shots and another 2MP camera for depth shots. There is also a 32-megapixels front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and other video calling purposes.
Among the connectivity options, there is Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C present on the Nova 5T.
