Huawei on Thursday introduced a new smartphone for the European market dubbed as Huawei P Smart Pro. The device is identical to that of recently launched Huawei Y9s, which is itself similar in terms of design to Honor 9X. The only difference between the Huawei P Smart Pro and Honor 9X is the placement of the fingerprint scanner. Huawei P Smart Pro – Specifications
Starting with the display, the Huawei P Smart Pro sports a 6.59-inch display with Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It uses the LCD panel and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.1 OS but lacks Google Apps and Services.
The display doesn’t have a notch as it comes with a pop-up mechanism housing a 16-megapixels front-facing camera. On the rear side, the device offers a triple rear camera setup – a 48-megapixel shooter with wide f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixels camera with f/2.4 aperture for depth sensing. The P Smart Pro is powered by Kirin 710F chipset.
On the storage front, the Huawei P Smart Pro has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a microSD card slot for further memory expansion up to 512GB. Sensors on the phone include an ambient light sensor, a gravity sensor, a gyroscope, a magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.
There is a 4,000mAh battery on the back with support for 10W fast charging and uses USB Type-C port for charging. It is just 8.8mm thick and weighs 206 grams.

The Huawei P Smart Pro is available in midnight black and breathing crystal color options. In terms of pricing, the smartphone is already up for grab in several European countries including Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Poland, Ukraine, and more for pricing of around €350. No details available regarding the availability of the device in order regions.
