Huawei is in a row of announcing old models as a new edition with improvised design and hardware. Huawei P20 Lite is the latest example as the device will be relaunched as Huawei P20 Lite 2019. Although the successor carries the same name, there will be several changes in the features and the pricing overview. In fact, the Huawei P20 Lite 2019 is much bigger than initially thought.
There are no official details regarding the specifications about the Huawei P20 Lite 2019. But thanks to the latest leaks, we have enough idea what the Huawei upcoming mid-ranger will offer.
According to the reports, the P20 Lite 2019 to come with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It will also feature a punch-hole on the top left corner of the screen carrying a 16-megapixels front-facing camera.
Just like Huawei P30 Pro, the Huawei P20 Lite 2019 will also come with quad cameras – a 24MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra wide sensor, 2MP, 2MP. The two 2-megapixels sensors might offer depth effects and macro shots.
In terms of hardware, the Huawei P20 Lite 2019 includes an octa-core Kirin 710 12nm chipset coupled with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes in 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants with an option to expand up to 400GB via microSD card.
The device also features dual-SIM support and run on Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.1 OS. It measures 159.1 x 75.9 x 8.3mm, weighs 178g, and offers connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS. A 4000mAh battery provides juice to the device.
Price and Availability:
The HUAWEI P20 Lite 2019 is expected to come in Midnight Black, Gradient Blue, and Charming Red color variants and is expected to range between €280 (US$ 314 / Rs. 22,130 approx.) and €330 (US$ 370 / Rs. 26,080 approx.) depending on the storage version.
