Huawei P30 and P30 Pro started receiving a new software update via OTA in China as well as global countries. This could be the last EMUI 9.1 firmware update for the P30 smartphones before we see the stable EMUI 10 rolling out. EMUI 10 is the skinned version of Android 10 for Huawei devices and is already in the final stage of testing.
The latest update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro brings the build number EMUI 9.1.0.240(C431E4R2P2) for global markets and EMUI 9.1.0.226 for China region. The update weighs 107MB in size. A couple of days back, Huawei released the EMUI 9.1.0.226 update for the P30 series bringing the September patch as well as system improvements.
The latest EMUI 9.1.0.240 update brings the October 2019 security patch. This fixes the 3 serious and 9 high levels of vulnerabilities on Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.
As said, the update is pushed via OTA in a phase-wise manner. So, it might take a couple of days to appear on each and every handset. Users can also manually check for updates by following the path Settings > System > Software update > Check for updates. One can also download the HiCare app to request the latest update.
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are first among the list to get the EMUI 10 stable update. App icons, Dark mode, Magazine Design, Morandi Color, Always-On display are some of the top features of EMUI 10.

Funny because i have global version and my soft is 9.1.0.193 and there’s no newest one 🙂 Hope to get EMUI 10 as fast as it’s possible 🙂
Hello.. It is rolling out in batches. So might take some time. Also, one can expect EMUI 10 by November-end
On my P30 there is no update via OTA, firmware is 9.1.0.193, but when I
connect the phone via HiCare Suite in Windows there is newest update
(9.1.0.240).
