Huawei on Tuesday announced the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones at a special event in Paris, France as promised. Both these smartphones come with the premium build quality and flagship hardware. The Chinese smartphone giant tags the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro as its “most advanced camera smartphones to date”. These devices include top camera features like company’s SuperSpectrum sensor, an optical zoom, and a new time-of-flight (ToF) camera which delivers high-end pictures similar to that of professional DSLRs. Huawei P30 – Specs, Features
The Huawei P30 features an in-display fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with the company’s EMUI 9.1 on top. It has dual SIM and dual VoLTE connectivity, sports almost bezel-less front with dewdrop notches.
The P30 sports a 6.1-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ OLED HDR display with DCI-P3 color gamut. In terms of hardware, the device is powered by a Kirin 980 processor with 720 MHz ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU. Further, the device comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
For photography, the Huawei P30 offers Leica-powered triple-camera system on the back with a 40MP (f/1.8 aperture) primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide angle sensor (f/2.2 aperture), and a telephoto 8MP sensor. It also offers up to 5x periscope zoom. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture similar to that of Huawei P30 Pro.
The device packs a 3650mAh battery with Huawei SuperCharge fast charging technology and has an IP53 certified build. The device measures 149.1 x 71.36 x 7.57m and weighs 165g.
Price and Availability:
The HUAWEI P30 comes in Black, Pearl White, Aurora, Amber Sunrise and Breathing Crystal colors, is priced at Euros and will be available starting from 799 Euros (US$ 902 / Rs. 62,240 approx.) for the 6GB RAM model. It will be available for order starting today globally, but it is not expected to launch in India as only the P30 Pro is coming.
