Recently, the Huawei released a new firmware update to Huawei P30 Pro which brings the Dual-View mode in the camera. Today, the company has started rolling out another update to P30 Pro. This time, the update brings bug fixes over the previous update along with few new features including DC Dimming, lower latency Bluetooth streaming, multiple facing unlocking, and more.
The latest firmware update for the Huawei P30 Pro has been given the version EMUI 220.127.116.11. The update is released for the global variants and is rolled out in batches. Users can take the help of Hicare app to request the new update.
The new EMUI 18.104.22.168 firmware update for Huawei P30 Pro brings the DC Dimming feature. With this special mode, one can prevent screen flickering in the phone’s AMOLED panel and thus helps reduce strain the user’s eyes. The DC Dimming on EMUI 9.1 can be enabled through Settings > Display > Eye comfort and toggle-on the Flicker reduction option.
Lastly, the Huawei P30 Pro’s in-display fingerprint scanner is also said to have been improved. Users can now add a second face for the face unlocking feature. There is also some improvement in the quality of the images.
Moreover, the XDA Developers also reports that the update brings the new ultra-low latency Bluetooth technology to the P30 Pro. With this tech, one can experience better multimedia by reducing the delay in audio transmission and allow for better sync between the audio and the video.
To remind you, the Huawei P30 Pro comes with a 6.47-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ OLED HDR Display with DCI-P3 color gamut. It is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 980 SoC, runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based EMUI 9.0 OS, and has IP68 ratings for water and dust resistant.
It has a Leica quad-lens camera with 40-megapixel RYYB sensor, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens for 5x loss-less zoom with a periscope and a ToF depth-sensing camera. It also has a 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom. It can capture low light photos with up to ISO 409600. It has a 32-megapixel camera on the front.
