Huawei Watch GT is the company’s most successful fitness wearable in the premium segment. It was first announced in October 2018 featuring a 1.39-inch display, real-time heart rate monitoring, GPS, sleep tracking and more.
Since its announcement, the Huawei Watch GT has received timely updates that bring enhanced performance and optimizations. Back in July, the firmware update with version 1.0.8.34 added the much-awaited Always-On display feature. Now, a new update has been rolling out the Watch GT.
The update brings the version 1.0.10.18 and is about 6.85MB in size. It brings several changes to the Watch GT including the optimizations of sleep tracking algorithms and swimming calculations. You can also refer to the below image for the detailed changelog overview.

To remind you, Huawei expanded its wearable portfolio with the launch of Huawei Watch GT 2. Being the successor of Watch GT, it brings several new features. HUAWEI Watch GT 2 comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes and the 42mm version sports a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels and the 46mm version sports a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels.
The smartwatch runs on the company’s own LiteOS and is powered by Kirin A1 chipset. It packs with 455mAh battery which provides 14 days of backup for the 46mm variant while the 42mm gets for 7 days. It also features heart rate tracking with TruSeen 3.5, sleep monitoring, HUAWEI TruRelax, and all-day activity tracking.
