Huawei on Monday announced a new smartphone in the ‘Y Series’ dubbed as Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 after it recently surfaced as Y7 2019. This newly launched budget handset is initially introduced to the Vietnam market which is already in sale for 39, 90,000 Vietnamese dongs which translates into Rs. 11,990 or $171. There are no official words regarding the launch of Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 to other global markets.
Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 Specifications, Features
In terms of display, the Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 comes with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with 720 x 1520 pixel resolution. The smartphone screen offers the aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.2 Company’s custom skin on top.
The dual-SIM Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. On the storage front, the device offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further extendable up to 512GB using a microSD card.
For photography, the Y7 Pro 2019 is equipped with a 13MP f/2.2 main camera with LED flash, support for AI scene detection, and a 2MP depth-sensing secondary camera. There is also a 16MP shooter on the front for Selfies and other video calling purposes. The handset also comes with the Face Unlock feature, but sadly there is no fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity options for the Y7 Pro 2019 includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. The phone measures 158.92 × 76.91 × 8.1mm and weighs 168 grams. A 4000mAh battery provides juice to the device.
