Huawei Y8s, the company’s latest affordable smartphone has been officially announced in Jordan. Currently, the device is listed on Huawei’s website in the Arab country of Jordan without any details about the price and availability. The listing reveals that the Huawei Y8s will be made available in two colors – Emerald Green and Midnight Black. A 6.5-inch FHD+ display, 48MP main rear camera, 4000mAh battery are the highlights of Huawei Y8s.
Huawei Y8s Specifications
The dual-SIM Huawei Y8s comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ TFT LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Under the hood, there is a Kirin 710 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-MP4 GPU and 4GB RAM. For storage, the device comes in two variants – 64GB and 128GB. Further, there is also a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 512GB).
On the back, there is a dual-camera setup. This consists of a primary 48-megapixels camera with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 2-megapixels camera with f/2.4 aperture.
It has a relatively small notch on the top, where we have two selfie cameras on both sides of the earpiece. The sensors are 8-megapixel with an aperture value of f/2.0, a 2-megapixel shooter with an aperture value of f/2.4.
The Huawei Y8s sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel runs on Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.1 OS. The dimensions of the device are 162.4 x 77.1 x 8.13mm and weigh 180g. The battery of the phone is 4000mAh, but sadly, it charges through a micro USB port.
