Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor V20 are the latest phones to support the company’s Magic UI 3.1 beta update. This will be a great surprise as the company still have to push the EMUI 10.0 update for supportive devices, thereby shifting gears to the next version of EMUI skin i.e. the EMUI 10.1 (Magic UI 3.1).
Magic UI 3.1 is still based on Android 10. It brings some additional features and enhancements for the devices for which the roadmap has already been shared. Among the eligible devices for EMUI 10.1/Magic UI 3.1 update, the devices namely Huawei Mate 30, Mate 20, P20 series, Honor 9X/9X Pro have already picked the update.
Coming back to the topic, the Magic UI 3.1 update for Honor 20/20 Pro brings version number 10.1.0.116 and it’s rolling out for the users who show interest as early beta testers. Honor V20 users get the update with firmware version v10.1.0.116/117. The update is pushed via OTA (over-the-air). If you still can’t see the update, then check manually via Settings > System Updates.
Moreover, the beta program is limited to the China region for the time being. We could expect Huawei expanding the Magic UI 3.1 beta update outside of China in the coming weeks.
