Stable EMUI 10.1 is available to download for Huawei P30, P30 Pro

Last month, Huawei started recruiting the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro users for the EMUI 10.1 beta program. Soon after, selected users received the beta update via OTA. However, the beta update was limited to a few users. Now, the Chinese telecom tech has started pushing the stable EMUI 10.1 update for both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro devices. Initially, the update is limited to China but it won’t take much time expanding to other global regions.

In order to be eligible for the update, make sure your Huawei P30 model runs on the latest firmware i.e. EMUI 10.0.0.195. One can upgrade the device through Settings > System and Update > Software update > Check Updates. There is also Huawei’s official app called Service App (HiCare) which also helps to download the latest firmware package.

To remind, EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 is an incremental update to EMUI 10. EMUI 10.1 made its first appearance alongside the Huawei P40 series earlier this year. Some of the top features of Huawei’s latest EMUI skin include Multi-Window, multi-device control panel, multi-screen collaboration, Huawei MeeTime (video conferencing app), and Celia. Celia is Huawei’s own Voice Assistant replacing the Google Assistant.

Alongside, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, Huawei is also rolling out the stable EMUI 10.1 (Magic UI 3.1) update for multiple devices. Huawei MatePad Pro, Huawei Nova 6 series, Honor V30/V30 Pro are some of the devices getting the latest upgrade.
