Huawei is all set to announce its next generation of P-series flagship smartphones at an event in Paris today. When the smartphones are launching today, their specifications were leaked weeks ago. The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are reportedly powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 985 SoC and run on Android 9.0 Pie OS with EMUI 9.1 on top. The Huawei P20 is said to come with a 6.47-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 2340 x 1080 resolution. It also features curved edges and a waterdrop notch. On the other hand, the P30 Pro is claimed to feature a 6.47-inch OLED non-curved display with a waterdrop notch and thin bezels.
The Huawei P30 Pro might have four rear camera setup – a 40MP main camera, 20MP wide-angle lens, 8MP sensor, and a hybrid zoom lens that gives zoom of 10X. Huawei highlighted this Zoom feature in the media invite which the company sent for the P30 and P30 Pro launch event.
On the storage front, the P30 is likely to offer 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. On the other hand, the P30 Pro comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The Huawei P30 Pro will come equipped with a 4200mAh battery, while the Huawei P30 is expected to pack a smaller 3,650mAh battery.
