Huawei already rolled out Nougat beta update to a small number of Honor 5C users in Malaysia and India this year. Today, the company brings new update to the Indian Honor 5C variant NEM-L22.
New Android 7.0 Nougat based beta update brings the build number B301 and is currently rolling out via OTA. So, all those Honor 5C users in a beta program are eligible for the upgrade. The update brings Huawei’s custom skin, EMUI 5.0 and includes core changes which are present in other devices like Honor 8.
The EMUI 5.0 update brings several native features like multi-window, quick app switching, and Google Now on tap. The multi-window also gets Knock Knock feature which lets users to swipe across the screen using your finger to launch the multi-window mode. Apart from this, there is also a huge change to the interface of the device.
If you’re one among those waiting for the Honor 5C stable Nougat update, then the wait is not too long. Huawei might start pushing the update from March-end or early April 2017.
