EMUI 9.0 Android Pie update for Huawei & Honor phones

Huawei fans will be happy to hear that the company has started Android 9.0 Pie EMUI 9.0 Beta program for a range of its devices. It means, users can experience the ROM well before the actual rollout of stable OTA update.

The eligible devices for Android Pie beta update includes Huawei Mate 9, Honor 9, Honor View 9, Honor Note 10, Huawei Nova 2S, Nova 3, P10, P10 Plus, Mate 9 Pro, Mate 9 Porsche Design, and MediaPad M5 tablet. Do note that this update is meant only for Chinese devices while the same program might be expanded to other global markets including India.

Like every beta program, selected users need to install the Android 9.0 Pie based EMUI 9.0 ROM on their respective handset and report bugs. However, do not this is still under development, users will undoubtedly find bugs and errors.

Before this, Huawei released EMUI 9.0 Beta program to Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, P20, P20 Pro, Honor 10, View 10, and Honor Play in early September. It was released for both Chinese and European markets.
