List of Huawei & Honor Phones to get GPU Turbo Update

Huawei has revealed its list of devices eligible to get the latest GPU Turbo Technology. To recall, the Chinese smartphone giant introduced the technology along with the Honor Play and Honor 9i (2018) smartphones in China last month. Smartphones with GPU Turbo technology boost the graphics performance as well as reduces the power consumption’s. According to the company, this latest technology increases the graphics processing efficiency up to 60% and power consumption reduces by 30%.

Huawei Honor GPU Turbo Technology

Huawei has officially revealed that the Huawei Mate 10 will be the first company smartphone to get the GPU Turbo update followed by Honor V10. Both the devices have already started receiving the feature.

Huawei P20 series, Mate RS Porsche Design, Nova 2S, Honor 10 and MediaPad M5 are the list of devices to get the GPU Turbo update in the month of July, whereas the Nova 3e, Enjoy 8 Plus, Enjoy 7S, Maimang 6, Honor 9 Lite and Honor Play 7X will get the update in August. These mentioned Huawei devices in Europe, Russia, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and African markets will only get the OTA update. Coming to Honor models, India will be replacing Africa from the above list.

In September and October, the Huawei Mate 9 series, Huawei P10 series, Honor 9 and Honor V9 are scheduled to get the latest GPU Turbo update via OTA. Good thing about the Huawei’s latest technology is that it’s not limited to flagship or high-end devices, but the feature will also be rolled out to various mid-range and affordable smartphones. But, it’s important to note that as these graphics improvements can be achieved with the optimizations on the hardware and software front, the Huawei and Honor devices powered Kirin processors can only be benefited.
