As expected, Samsung today officially launched its latest flagship smartphones – the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. With this announcement, it has confirmed all the previous leaks and rumors and here we have considered all these specifications of Galaxy S8 Plus and compared to Huawei P10 Plus to confirm which is a better device.
Design, Display and Processor
Both the flagship smartphones have similar kind of design as their smaller counterparts only larger. The Huawei P10 Plus is sleek and softer than the P9, with its curved edges and corners. The dual camera setup, dual LED flash, and laser autofocus are allocated at the top back of the device. Coming to Galaxy S8 Plus, it has the similar edge to edge screen display as the standard Galaxy S8 as well as the same rear shell similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge.
On the display front, both the devices sports larger screen than their standard counterparts. The P10 Plus features a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution screen and is powered by its own Kirin 960 octa-core processor. On the other hand, the Galaxy S8 Plus flaunts a 6.2-inch display with a screen resolution and pixel density of 2960 x 1440 and 529ppi respectively.

Cameras and Storage
The P10 Plus equips dual camera setup of 20-megapixels and 12-megapixels on the rear side and there is an 8-megapixels front camera. When it comes to the Galaxy S8 Plus cameras, there is a 12-megapixels shooter on the back and an 8-megapixels on the front.
On the storage front, both the devices features 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 256GB. There are also 6GB variants of these devices currently announced for limited countries.
In the battery department, the Huawei P10 Plus has a slightly bigger battery of 3750mAh compared to Galaxy S8 Plus 3500mAh.
