Huawei’s Honor brand announced the Honor MagicWatch 2, the successor of last year’s model along with the Honor V30 flagship devices at an event in China this week. The MagicWatch 2 is similar to that of Huawei Watch GT 2 and is targeted mainly towards the younger audience. In this guide, we’ll help you to Pair Honor MagicWatch 2 with your Android/iOS smartphone.
The Honor MagicWatch 2 comes in two sizes – 42mm and 46mm. The 42mm Magic Watch 2 has a 1.2-inch OLED screen with 390 x 390 pixels resolution while the 46m version has a 1.4-inch OLED unit with 454 x 454 pixels resolution. The smartwatch offers 4GB of internal storage of which 2GB alone can be used for music storage. It supports 15 goal-based fitness modes and comes with a number of health tracking features. It is water-resistance up to 50 meters and offers customized clock faces. The device also monitors heart rate 24/7 and alerts the user when it goes up or down normal levels.
The Honor MagicWatch 2 also lets users make Bluetooth calls on the go with the help of a built-in speaker and mic. It includes built-in apps like Weather, Alarm, Timer, Find My Phone, and more.

Hi,
Would you kindly clarify what are the features iOS users won’t be able to use in the watch compared To Android ones, if any.
Thanks.
Hi,
I’ve had the Honor Magic Watch 2 for 1.5 years and have been using it while connected to an Android device.
While using the same app with Android support, it was working very well, and every function worked seamlessly except the Bluetooth connectivity. (It could be a problem on my end.) When I connect my phone to more than one Bluetooth device, I experience connectivity issues. For example, if I’m on a call using car Bluetooth and suddenly get another call that is on hold, my Bluetooth will automatically disconnect (my phone shows it is connected) in the car Bluetooth audio.
I thought that this may be my mobile phone issue or be with the car audio, but the problem remains the same after changing mobile phones and using Bluetooth in another car. Hence, it was an issue created while connected to the Honor Magic Watch 2.
I recently switched to iOS and have been using it on my iPhone for the last 2-3 months.
The problems I’m having are as follows:
1. Your application will be automatically closed in the mobile phone, and thus the data will not sink automatically.Every time you need to open your mobile and open the application to sink the data from the Honor Mobile Watch2, you need to open in mobile and open the application.
2. You will not be able to download new watch faces using the iOS application.
3. You will not be able to use the “Find my Device” option from the Honor Magic Watch2 since the application on the iPhone will automatically close due to background restrictions.
4. The data that is sinking from the Honor Magic Watch 2 with the iOS application does not always match what is manually syncing.
I hope I’m able to answer your query now.

Sumant Kumar
